CMP Engineering is a specialist carbon fibre fabrication and engineering company located in Pedersöre, Finland and owned by Andreas Forsman and Fredrik Hjulfors. Our approach to doing business is customer-centric.

I spent six years at Baltic Yachts where I was primarily responsible for mechanical engineering design support. I love yachting design and developing solutions for complex mechanical engineering problems. My education background includes a BA in Engineering where I specialised in mechanical design & engineering, and I also have a BA in Environmental engineering.
My role at CMP is taking our customers’ requests and turning them into workable designs and renders. I am detail-oriented and I’m passionate about finding solutions that make all stakeholders happy. I particularly enjoy designing for large sailing yachts.
In my limited free time, i enjoy working on mechanical projects in my garage. I build and repair cars, snowmobiles, motorcycles And Mopeds.

I’ve spent over 16 years working in the yachting industry.
I began my career at Nautor Swan in the boatbuilding division, before moving to Baltic Yachts. There, I swiftly moved up the ranks from the foreman of the servicing and refit division, to project manager which I did for over four years. I am deadline-driven and customer relationship-focused.
My passion is turning your complex requests into reality by finding engineering solutions to difficult problems.
In my spare time, I enjoy week-long solo hikes in the forest with my dog

With 20 years of experience from yacht manufacturing where only excellence is good enough, we have learned how to always meet and excel the customer requirements and strive for excellent quality.
Price is naturally a key factor and we have proven to be very competitive in pricing on engineering, CNC milling and composite manufacturing both on small quantities as well as larger.
